Her Story
This was an assignment,
not an idea.
Danica did not sit down to write a book. The story came the way assignments come. All at once, and not entirely by choice.
She does not write from above the road. She writes from on it.
The story arrived whole. A girl in a dress stitched from other people’s words. A boy who brought storms instead of water. A silver cat who showed up when she had nothing left. And a letter she had been carrying in her own pocket the whole time.
Danica wrote it the way you take an assignment you did not choose, out of a season that was not tidy. What she teaches now is what she walked then: worth that was written before you were born, forgiveness that sets you free without handing back the key, a God who comes near in the mess instead of waiting on the other side of it.
She is a teacher, a licensed minister, and a published author, one step ahead of the woman reading, and still walking.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Where this meets you
What this looks like for you
You do not have to arrive with it figured out. You do not have to explain yourself, or clean it up first, or know what to call the thing you have been carrying. That is what the first conversation is for.
Your identity
Remembering who you are beneath every role and expectation you carry.
Your purpose
Trading striving and noise for a clear, unhurried sense of what you are for.
A deeper walk
A faith that feels less like performance and more like coming home.
Every step toward healing is an act of extraordinary courage. Reading this far is a step. The next one is a conversation.
